How we works with Stronghold
Stronghold Pay connects blockchain technology with real commerce at our eco-sanctuary — giving visitors and local merchants a practical way to pay and get paid digitally.
Rolling out at the sanctuary
Stronghold is the financial infrastructure behind Jungle Fish's hybrid payment system. The plan is to reduce reliance on costly traditional point-of-sale fees by offering direct digital checkout at our physical locations — starting with the restaurant and bar.
On-site QR payments
Dedicated Stronghold QR codes will operate alongside $JFISH token QR codes at points of sale. Together they create a parallel, seamless checkout path for international tourists and local visitors who prefer to pay digitally.
Growing the Southern Zone network
Jungle Fish also aims to help drive adoption across Costa Rica's Southern Zone — from Pérez Zeledón to Uvita. The vision is to onboard regional entrepreneurs into the Stronghold network so small and medium businesses can process transactions with minimal fees and stay more competitive.
Community workshops
Payment technology is part of our education program. Planned weekly events at the sanctuary will teach merchants and the wider community how to set up Stronghold merchant accounts and understand the tools behind modern digital commerce.

Time-donation model
